Backup & Restore Policy
How backups support recovery and what customers must do to protect critical records.
Legal contact: support@tajirpro.net
1. Purpose and scope
Backups are maintained to support operational recovery from defined failures. They are not an archive service, legal record repository, or substitute for customer exports and independent copies.
2. Backup frequency and retention
The standard production schedule creates a private database backup daily and retains up to 30 recent backup sets, subject to successful execution and available storage. Recent sets are checked through scheduled checksum verification. Customers may also create on-demand company backups before reset or restore. The operator may adjust timing or retention for infrastructure, security or capacity reasons and will update this policy when a material change is adopted.
3. Verification
Where supported, backup manifests and integrity checks are used to detect incomplete or corrupted sets. A successful backup job or verification reduces risk but does not prove that every future restore will succeed under every scenario.
4. Restore process
Restores require authorised approval and may overwrite current data. Before a restore, we may verify identity, account ownership, scope, available restore point, integrity, and business impact. Restores may be performed to a temporary environment first where practical.
5. Recovery limitations
Recent transactions after the selected restore point may be lost. Files can be unavailable because of corruption, encryption-key loss, provider failure, deletion, retention expiry, software incompatibility, or an incident affecting both primary and backup systems.
6. Customer exports
Customers should regularly export invoices, ledgers, tax records, stock reports, receivables, payables, and other critical information and store copies securely outside TajirPro. Export frequency should match the business’s tolerance for data loss.
7. Restore charges and timelines
Standard recovery caused by a confirmed TajirPro platform failure may be handled without additional charge. Customer-requested historical restoration, investigation, custom extraction, or recovery caused by user action may require time, approval, and a disclosed service fee.
